VISUALIZE YOUR DREAMS LABEL / MUSIC REVIEW
By "The Cat"
November 2003
Around The World Records:
This Label has a plan,
I was very impressed with the direct and honest approach used
on the site, and I liked the disclaimer about profanity, there
is so much of that in the music industry today it is so unnecessary.
Around The World Records caught my eye because it showed how your
personal belief in yourself can help you Visualize Your Dream!
EMJ: He has a sound that is taking the 'Dirty South' to
a whole new level. His speak is flowing and his beats are fresh,
look for this talent to blow up. Listening to his tracks it is
obvious, this young rapper has 'Street Credibilty' ,also the track
'Get into it' from the CD is real and personal, allowing the listener
a view into his life. This is a definite hit! Another hit and
personal favorite is off of the CD titled 'A.L.A.B.A.M.A.' the
'Latin Track', it has an excellent intro, with a soft spanish
flavor, which does not drown out the message from the artist.
This is a savvy hip hop marketing track, very nicely done.
I rate this young artist as a 5 star dream artist. I hope we hear more from this artist. EMJ, I hope you go far.

CAPITAL CITY FREE PRESS MUSIC REVIEW
By Joseph O. Patton
October 2003
EMJ has unleashed the blazing "Street Credibility," a high-powered, upbeat collection of smooth rhymes, tight beats and clean production. EMJ's lyrics are smooth, riddled with wit and through-provoking ideas. He shines when it comes to originality, daring to do his own thing and not follow the tired paths of other artists. His ability to craft intelligent messages without the vulgar muck that many artists get bogged down in is truly refreshing and welcoming. It's another sign that EMJ has the courage and spunk to simply shine as himself and allow his talent to speak for itself. EMJ has a powerful, yet warm voice, capable of hitting hard but still delivering with a smooth tone. "Street Credibility" is hip-hop with heart, full of punch but still capable of scratching the brain. EMJ's Southern flair paired with extra touches like the silky vocals of Kandace, who appears on three of the tracks, makes for an awesome collection of songs. This release is well-rounded and a tribute to all that is great about hip-hop. Of special note are "Get Up On the Floor," "Get Into It," "The Latin Track" and "You're Mad at Me." But the hits don't stop there. "Street Credibility" is an all-round great work.

Album Title: Street Credibility: EMJ is an artist from Alabama who has been dropping some great, underground tracks throughout the South and West Coast area. He has won numerous awards and has many releases that can be found on many websites throughout the internet. His new album called "Street Credibility" is a CD that contains some great anthems and Southern hits. The new album called "Street Credibility" is a CD that contains some great anthems and Southern hits. The CD features a remix to a popular song called "A.L.A.B.A.M.A." that is a personal favorite of mine. This song contains some great lyrics by the artist and showcases some great production by EMJ himself. "You're Mad At Me" featuring Kandace is another hot track that should be his next single. This track is well produced and Kandace's music ability is awesome. Kandance is also featured on two other okay tracks like the all-right "Get Into It" song and the above average "Get Up On The Floor" tune. The remix for another great song called "Street Credibility" is another song to look for from this gifted artist. You can find EMJ on his website at www.aroundtheworldrecords.com.

DIRTYSOUTHRAP.COM MUSIC REVIEW

October 2002
All discs are graded on a 1-5 scale.
EMJ - A.L.A.B.A.M.A. (Around The World Records): Come on is the first track. Rocks a nice electronic guitar riff beat. And a real nice chorus/Chant. The voice will probably remind you of 50 Cent from New York, nice flow though. You're Mad At Me, starts with a pimped out funk beat, to be followed by some nice vocals by Kandance and finally the kick off flow, real crisp and clear lyrics are a plus through out this album. ALABAMA is the third track, EMJ is originally from Scottsboro, Bama and now stays in Montgomery, the chorus is tight, along with the lyrics and metaphors, only thing is i think this track could be more crunked up a little bit more to spice it up. I'm not hating though. Just speaking. The Latin Track is my favorite joint it goes hard all the way, the chorus, beat, flow its all there in this track. If you only get a chance to peep one cut off the album peep this one. Good flavor. Get Into It is a nice slower song, on a reminiscing hard times tip. As many times I've heard tracks like this one, this one is actually unique in its own way. The vocals once again by Kandance are so nice. The beats are unique and ride with E's flow perfectly, or should I say E's rides the beat perfectly? Either way its nice to know MC can still come real AND positive. Recognize the Game is another one of my favorite tracks. Its the crunkest of the tracks, some nice electronic fx. Its the people that come up with innovative styles that make it, not nut joggers. EMJ is def. coming with his own. The Truth Hurts is the last track off the album, once again the beat goes hard, the random change ups keep the track fresh. EMJ defiantly has talent and proves it on this release. We look forward to hearing his new work when it drops. As for this release it brings the ultimate mixture; rhyme, style, fresh beats and good production so were giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

BOSTON HERALD MUSIC REVIEW
By Michael J. Ryan
April 2002
All discs are graded on a 1-10 scale.
EMJ - A.L.A.B.A.M.A. (Around The World Records): Southern hip hop newcomer EMJ walks a fine line with his release, "A.L.A.B.A.M.A."On one hand, EMJ seeks street credibility and on the other, he tries to avoid the trendy "guns, blunts and hos" boasting that so many current hip-hoppers engage in. He pulls it off, too, by adopting an up-and-coming-underdog persona."Recognize The Game" features a killer bass and drum sound, spiced with a complimentary string loop while"A.L.A.B.A.M.A." unfurls with a slow keyboard sound. Additionally, "The Truth Hurts" displays a killer beat and guitar loop. EMJ's words feature some nifty rhyme schemes and maturity."Though I'm not at the level I wanna be/Still got my eyes on prize in front of me," he admits on "Recognize The Game." He also has a sense of humor as evidenced by this line later in the same tune: "EMJ is so hot I made the devil perspire."The recording on these tracks is raw and edgy though the rapping is polished and crisp. Overall, EMJ is a fine songwriter who is definitely worth keeping an eye on. The beats on "A.L.A.B.A.M.A." are forceful and the lyrics are clean.
